I realize, by posting the title as "NOT FOR MEN," you males will still look at this. Let me be clear, this blog contains information and griping that you DO NOT want to know about. The following message is complete and total honesty and it's pretty disgusting. And only women will be able to handle it. This is not a challenge to you, gentlemen, it is fair warning. So, if you continue reading, it is at your own risk.
Yes, I also realize that if you are a man, the likelihood that you read this blog is small. And I also realize that you may not be reading the whole thing, and will automatically come to the part that will gross you out. It's Murphy's Law, it WILL happen... so just stop.
Yesterday, my left calf was still bugging me, so I spent the day doing some not-so-light shopping. And I feel guilty for that...
This morning's breakfast consisted of a shake and a power bar.
5 minute warm up + 10 minute moderate jog + 6 minutes hula hoop + 5 minute cool down + 3 minute balance game + 20 minutes of an hour-long INTENSE yoga work out. My arms were starting to shake really bad so I decided not to push TOO hard. But I did notice that I'm able to do most of the poses in time with the instructor.
The Wii said I gained four pounds from yesterday's couch riding. I didn't. Aunt Flo is taking a ride, adding a few extra water pounds where she's not really wanted. I don't know how long she's sticking around this time, she was on vacation for a few months and I'm guessing she's feeling like over-staying her welcome. I really did miss her after a while, but she gets on my nerves fairly quickly. At least it's not as painful as it could've been... but it's not over yet.
Today, I'm setting up a grocery list to stick to fervently. Like, "this is what we need, get only this or you will pay," kind of grocery list. No more eating out, no buying alcohol (I kinda stocked up) no toiletry needs, no household desires... now let's see if I can get myself to start making lunches for Husband...
Also, I've noticed my hip bones are making a reappearance. I'm loving it. My pants are fitting better, too!!
Yay! Aunt Flo!!! Good luck with the grocery list! I have found that healthy food is more expensive, but worth it in the long run. Keep going! I hopped on the scale today to see where I was at for the week and I am down 5 pounds this week! Definitely going to keep running and tracking my food for my weigh in Saturday. My pants are thanking me too.
